Hello
I am writing to complain about not being able to contact anyone. Your website and phone number are fixed in such a way that it is impossible to speak to a person. It’s fine if everything is going ok, but yesterday I really did need to talk to a real person. My question wasn’t in your options when I called, so I got pushed from one option to another option to finally receiving a text message - about something else that wasn’t even related!
I wish you would make it easy for people to contact you. There is supposedly a chat on messenger - but I couldn’t find that either. So, can you tell me:
How do I contact Sky if I have a problem that isn’t related to any of your options e.g. Broadband, TV, mobile?
Where is your messenger chat?
The question I had yesterday was actually to ask about the BB cabling. There was a cable hooked up between the neighbours and our house, and neither of us knew what it was for and it wasn’t electricity. I challenge someone to try to find out WHO to contact at SKY about this and HOW and WHERE to find that information?
And here we are, I cannot find an email address/phone number/chat bot/any bot that will answer my question....... and I am having to write it here. What is happening to the world?!
Can someone from SKY please answer my questions above .....?

Bythe way this is primarily a customer helps customer forum. You aren’t addressing Sky Customer Services here.
Sky don't use email asa general method of communication. If you already have a Sky Mobile or a Sky Talk landline call free by just dialling 150, otherwise use this link:
https://www.sky.com/help/home
UK: Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides an 0333 number. A lot of mobile networks include 01, 02 and 03 numbers in their inclusive minutes.
ROI: change the flag in the very bottom right corner of the link to the ROI flag then scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides an 0818 number.
(The forum filters don’t like us typing the digits in full).
Like a lot of large companies nowadays any calls to Sky will start off automated but stay on the line and don’t hang up if prompted to. Also be aware the operating times of departments differs depending on the issue you’re ringing about.

You mean broadband? Broadband infrastructure is the responsibility of Openreach or Virgin, not service providers like Sky.
It's highly unlikely that a Sky customer service adviser would know what the cable is for.
