Contacting Sky re a deceased person
I would like to thank Sky for making it so difficult to contact them regarding my brother who passed away over two years ago. I am trying to find out what sort of subscription he was paying for before he passed away as he was living in Social Housing, had no TV (true, even though the BBC license people refused to believe him) and he had no devices to access Sky. I just want to know what he was getting for his monthly Sky digital subscription as he was not capable of managing his affairs leading up to his passing.

@Chicago+Dave it is very unlikelly thst Sky will discuss your late brother's account with you even if you are administering her estate. This is a complex area of law but in general your brother had the right to buy and pay for whatever he wants even if he couldn't use it. Sky's duty of care to their customers does not extend to checking if a customer is mentally able. With sad cases like your brother loss of faculty is gradual which is why it is ise to get them to sign a power of attorny while they know what thry are signing.
