Hello
I am just about to move in to my new home and and I was wondering if anyone can help me with my issue regarding connecting smart tv with sky box.
the wall that I want my TV on doesnt have TV cables, my question really is that do I need TV cables to connect my TV? Or just HDMI will do the job?

All Sky boxes require an HDMI lead to the TV.

Sky Q isxa satellite television platform and requires a cable feed from a satellite dish.
If there's no satellite dish at the address you'll need to book a Sky Home Move to have this installed, and cables brought to the main Q box location.
To get Sky subscription television without a dish and associated dish cabling you'd have to move to Sky Stream.
