Closed account - returned equipment - bill for payment

Hi 

I closed our Sky account in October 2024 and returned the equipment in the packaging provided by Sky . I now keep receiving an email saying we owe payment and if it's not paid then this will be sent to  the collection agency. 

I've tried in vain to contact Sky but unable to speak to an advisor because my account is restricted . My account should have been closed when I informed Sky that I was leaving . 
please can you advise how I can get in touch and have this matter resolved as soon as possible.

Receiving return boxes would indicate that some cancellation happened...  (Did you get confirmation of cancellation email?)

 

The most likely explanation is a non-return charge for the equipment.  Do you have proof of posting?

Hi 

thank you for responding .

yes I do have proof of posting - I always keep the receipts pinned in my diary . Equipment was returned on 2/11/2024 at the local post office , it was a tracked returns to Unipart logistics . 

I'm struggling to get in touch with Sky to confirm these details and resolve the issues
