Charged more than I expected

I have closed my account with SKY but still have been charged for extra 1 month. Sky had advised that this would be refunded but no refund has been processed.

What can I do??

Thanks

@Praful1

Bills ar3 generated 14 days before a payment date and you're charged up to and including the last day of your service. Any overpayment is then reimbursed (we usually say within 6 weeks but it appears to be longer than that at present).

Re: Charged more than I expected

These clowns have been charging me massively extra every single month for a year also, I just came to realise it I've been paying for Sky TV Continuously for absolute ages without even turning on the dang thing for ages.

They used to call end of each year and actually make another contract, now, they quietly sit and take the extra payments on the sly.

It's not your contract that ends; it's the minimum term and any associated discounts with it that do. Unfortunately, if you don't keep track of when your minimum term and discounts expire, then you will automatically move onto the list prices. This is standard practise for the industry unfortunately but is ultimately the reason that Sky and its competitors offer really cheap new customer deals if you switch every 18-24 months as many people don't pay attention to discounts expiring and therefore start paying the higher prices.
