Charged for not returning sky equipment still in use?

I renewed my Sky Q contract essentially keeping everything I had before but ignored e-mails and packaging asking for the return of the Sky Q mini box as obviously I still needed this box to view. Now £52 is being charged for non return?

@ABC123DEF I wii escalate this to Sky for you but I need to wait for 10 minutes before I can do this

You may receive an email or a private message inviting you to have a private conversation on the Community with a Sky Expert.

Look out for a chat bubble at the bottom of your screen inviting you to a chat

If you don't see the bubble @ABC123DEF then try using a different browser as the chat invite was sent to you at 8.30 this morning.
