Re: Charged for not returning equipment which I returned!!

Sky have really big problem with thier returns department. Every post here is about getting billed when they have returned thier sky equipment.  I am in the same boat. Posted my equipment 2 month. Heard nothing.  Then get email saying I am been charged for not returning sky equipment. Like most people I can not find my post office receipt.

Who is in charge of this department because something here is not quite right.

@Black+capri

The returns are received by the Unipart company. Give Sky a call but as you haven't retained your proof of posting any cancellation of non return fees will be at Skys discretion.

@Black+capri  as @Daniel0210 says Without proof refunds are at sky's discretion but to see if they can help I’ve escalated your post to sky community chat who hopefully will be in contact and send you a private community message/email so I would recommend that if not already on, you turn email/private message notifications on to avoid missing any alerts so you don't have to phone if you don't want to

So look out for a chat bubble across the bottom of the screen when logged onto the forum

This link explains how this works

https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Did-you-know/Escalating-a-post-to-a-Sky-expert/ba-p/3711147#M1014

Be reassured the email & message is from Sky and your details are safe and secure.

Once you receive an invite you’ll have 48 hours to initiate a chat before it automatically times out, also ensure you login to the forum periodically for 48 hours after receiving the invite and check the chat bubble for any responses from sky and make sure you respond to each message from sky within 48 hours of each message, or the chat will time out again

NB 1 If your post has been escalated for a non return fee issue please note proof of postage is required without it refunds are at sky’s discretion

NB 2 If you are using Safari please make sure that Hide IP Address is not checked in order to see the chat bubble. If you are having trouble finding this to check the settings, use another browser such as Chrome

I have also been charged today for a returned sky q hub that i sent back in January after being sent a new one in December when we got sky full fibre. Like allot of you I have binned the proof of postage after this long. Hopefully i can call sky and they can refund the £50 charge.

 @azz134  You don't have to call sky if you don't want to as although you don't have proof any longer and whilst it's a skys discretion to refund to see if they can help I’ve escalated your post to sky community chat who hopefully will be in contact and send you a private community message/email so I would recommend that if not already on, you turn email/private message notifications on to avoid missing any alerts

Re: Charged for not returning equipment which I returned!!

I have had an email saying I am going to be charged in 11 days.

As with many in this after not hearing I got rid of receipt.

Can I speak to someone about this?

@C7fnt  Without proof refunds are solely at sky's discretion but To get you some help and hopefully get the charges removed, I’ve escalated your post to sky community chat who hopefully will be in contact and send you a private community message/email so I would recommend that if not already on, you turn email/private message notifications on to avoid missing any alerts
