Charged for ending free premium promotion

Sky engineer visiting and suggested free sky cinema and sports for one month.

I ended the package before the month was up. Now I am being charged £60 for ending this even though I made it clear that sky usually charges before we end the free package. 

They seem to be good at slipping in charges when they are not supposed to or make you aware of this before hand.

@Mwilk You should have cancelled on day one as it's a 31 day notice period to cancel.

I tried to. They said that I would have to cancel sky sports first then call up a few weeks later. 

The app would not allow me to cancel either.

You might want to register a complaint explaing that you were told you could not cancel both on day one when you wanted to give the required 31 days notice:
