Charged every month for cancelled subscription 5 months ago

Tried over 2 hours on phone to cancell in may as we're moving in June to go travelling.2 hours of some bloke on the phone trying to talk me into carrying on,explained I can't have sky nor need sky as going abroad. Still insisted I could.after 2 hour arguing on the phone I told him just cancell it I don't want it.nearly 6 months on I've been charged over 600quid in late payment fees and have bailiffs hounding me.surprise surprise they no have no record of me ringing to cancell only asking for house change...yet they can see I have not used the service or been at that adress for nearly 6 months. I have no fixed address at the moment.emailed ombudsmen and no reply emailed sky several times just to be told I am still connected and owe the money.they are impossible to talk to.

You cannot use the ombudsman services until you have complained to Sky (either to deadlock or 8 weeks elapsed).

 

Not 'using' the services (or returning the equipment) makes no difference in itself.

 

Put in a formal complaint to Sky.  Put in a Subject Access Request for the voice recording - take it from there...

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
