Hi,
I recieved notification of the incrase in costs to my broadband package from 1st April and therefore proceeded to cancel within the 30 day notice period.
The agent I spoke to assured me that I would not be charged as I terminated my package within the 30 day notice window but today Sky have slapped me with an £103 early termination charge. Is this an error?
Thanks

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIt does appear that it could be an error as it shouldn't be charged if you have cancelled within 30 days of being sent the price rise notification so you will need to call them back again to take this up with them.

Thanks, I'll get back in touch with them tomorrow.
Price rise notification was recieved on 6th March and notice was given on 8th March with a minimum 14 days notice period.
