Charge taken after leaving sky

I have been charged for a new contract when I have actually went with another supplier.

When did you cancel? 

Did Sky acknowledge the cancellation via an email?

Was this for TV or Broadbamd or both of them ?

 

What date were you billed on each month with Sky ?

 

What date did your services start with your new supplier ?

Broadband,  contract finished 8th of this month,  informed them of changing provider two weeks ago and even had call from them about my leaving.

 Cancellation was done through new provider and had calls and emails from sky regarding my leaving  them.  Charge was taken off on the date of me leaving of contract finishing.

So, have you been charged for a new contract or the final bill of your subscription? Bills are generated 14 days before your payment date at which point you were still a customer and charges like this are normal. Any overpayment should be reimbursed in about 6 weeks.,

New  contract payment, that's why I was leaving them. To late with an offer to try and keep men and new supplier was cheaper and a better download speed.
