Cannot purchase Sky TV on my new account - "ineligible" redirect

I recently created a new sky account as I've moved house and want to set up sky TV there. I activated my account ok and can log in, but any time I want to access my products, or add a TV package, it redirects me to this webpage:

 

https://www.sky.com/hub/ineligible

 

Is there any way to fix this? I just want to set up a TV package as I am currently sitting with no sky TV in my new home!

You might have gone about this the wrong way round, in that you go to the Sky website as a new customer and place your order and while you are doing this it should guide you to setup an account as a new customer So logout of that account and try it this way instead and doing so might mean you would need to setup a different account while doing this.

 

If you still have issues you will need to call Sky to get the order placed.

Cannot purchase sky q - only letting me purchase sky stream

I am wanting to set up sky q for my new house I've moved into. When I go to build my TV package on the website it only lets me choose sky stream, and I really don't want that, I'd prefer sky q. Even when I go ot the sky q page it redirects me to build a package with sky stream.

 

Any tips on how to do this?

Thank you - I can now set up my package but it seems to only be letting me build a package for sky stream and not sky q... can sky Q not be purchased any more?

You are probably going to have to a call to get the order placed.

 

150 is the free number to use from a Sky Mobile or Sky Talk phone otherwise under "Need more help ?" link at the bottom of the page on this link is the number to call Sky on:


https://www.sky.com/help/home


When you do call say nothing when the bot speaks to you about what your call is about as it should then route you to somebody.
