Cancelling sky tv subscription and moving broadband
I have given my 30 days + notification to cancel our current TV package and informed sky that we will be moving our broadband and home phone numbers to a new provider.
My issue is that the new provider can not install untill 2 days after my next advance broadband and phone payment is due to be collected.
Can I cancel the direct debit and ask for a final bill after I leave? I dont want to leave 29days broadband credit with sky.
Anyone else done tbks and if so did

Re: Cancelling sky tv subscription and moving broadband
@Veronica15 No, that's not how Sky's billing system works, You'll need to pay the next bill as normal even if the bill date overlaps your end date, any overpayment will then show on the following bill and can be refunded.
Cancelling direct debit at this stage is the worse course of action to take.

Samsung 75" 4K TV, Sky Glass Gen 2 55", Sky Stream, EE FTTC Broadband, Three 5G Broadband (Backup), Sony 7.1 AV Receiver, Technisat MultiSat receiver.

Re: Cancelling sky tv subscription and moving broadband
Thank you,
That is what I will do. As there is only 2 days where I will still be with sky it seemed mad I would have to purchase a months credit but it makes sense.
I appreciate the response.
