I was offered a new subscription yesterday, a slightly cheaper rate for sky signature, decided to cancel today (one day into my 31day cooling off period) because it would mean extending my contract end date from 1st may 25 to 9th aug 26and was told by the call centre that I can revert back to my original pricing but could not revert back to my original subscription end date. The new contract states that if I do cancel within the cooling off period I can revert to the position I was at before cancelling. Has anyone else had this problem. I see know why their reviews only give 1 out of 5 for service and prices.

Can you point us to where in your contract it states that?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreI'm not sure that either is applicable when you're agreeing a renewal deal with Sky. The contract you signed when you originally joined Sky is still in place and ongoing until you cancel it. There's no new contract when you agree a new deal.
Confusingly Sky and other providers call it a new 'contract', but it isn't. It's a new minimum term deal.

Hi
iunderstand that and the original contract states : if you cancel your order for a new sky Q subscription package we will put you back to your previous sky Q subscription where possible if within the 31 day cooling off period ( where possible means is the product or service is no longer available), and it is still available
