My wifes sky tv and broadband and talk was due to come to the end of her discounted period on the 16th february 2025.
We decided that the prices being offered werent good so ive taken out tv and bband with virgin in my name.
We called sky on the 5th February and cancelled all services and my wife got emails confirming sky tv and cinema etc will cancel on the 8th March 2025 after 31 days notice and the broadband and talk from the 19th feb 2025 (after 14 days notice)
Question is regards online billing.
Feb bill due 17th feb 2025 shows cancellation of sky tv and all sundries and credits up till 8th march. There is nothing about broadband cancellation and predicted bills for mar april and may show 29 and 32 per month for broadband only. Do i have to call sky again and get them to update the billing or will it update itself.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreIf you didn't get any confirmation of your broadband cancellation then I think the best thing to do is to call Sky to make that it has been processed correctly.

I'm not sure why your TV is different as usually billing continues right up to the day you leave, after which your future bill should then show a credit for any overpayment which could be what will happen here with your broadband. When you do see a credit you can then post back on here if you want as we can arrange some help to speed up the return process otherwise it can take weeks to automatically be refunded to you.
