Good afternoon
last year I was made homeless and jobless and I called to cancel my sky. I was told I couldn't cancel as it's just been renewed and that I would be put on the lowest package and use sky go. So after paying for sky for a year extra without having the privilege of using it I cancelled my sky and getting told I would get charged for not sending the equipment back. I in fact sent the equipment back last July. Why am I still getting messages saying I'll get charged. You have had plenty of money off me without me actually having the equipment or to to watch it on

You aren’t talking to Sky Customer Services here. This is a forum whereby customers try to help other customers.
Have you kept your proof of posting?
Let us know in this thread and we can maybe get you some help from the Messaging Team.
If you have the proof of posting we’ve been told it’s a fairly straightforward process for the team. If you haven’t retained it, any cancellation of non return fees would be at Skys discretion.
Please don’t post an image of the Royal Mail tracking or postal receipt.

The 'lowest package' is typically Sky TV Essentials delivered to a main Q box. Did Sky actually insist on Q hardware return at this point, or did you do so unprompted? Unfortunately dispatching items voluntarily increases the chance that any returned kit will just disappear into the tame black hole which Unipart uses as a warehouse because it won't be listed by Sky as something they are expecting back at that time.

Because Sky don't know you've sent it back.
Best to persevere with calling. If the bot asks why you're calling, try saying nothing. Don't hang up, and eventually you should be put through to an adviser.
