Cancelled my contract but still changed this month.
I recently cancelled my sky but they still took the direct debit of 38 pound yet I no longer have the sevice will they pay it back.

Yes, you'll be refunded any overpayment from the date your services actually end.

That is correct as billing continues right up to the day you leave so when you see a credit it is this that can be refunded.
