Cancelled broadband as Vodafone were installed fttp on 16th January, this has gone ahead as planned

Broadband removed 16 January 2023 but still being charged January, February, March is this normal.

If you have changed to another supplier then while you might still have been charged in January as bills are created in advance this shouldn't have happened this month so you will need to call Sky about this.

Did you get cancellation confirmation from Sky?

 

i don't believe FTTP counts as a 'line takeover' that would automatically cancel.

Sky were fully aware and emailed me this week thanking me for sending the router back and they stopped charged March quite sometime after removal.

FTTP from an ISP using Openreach should come under the current 'one-stop' scheme.  Altnet FTTP (and Virgin cable) is due to be incorporated later this year, although there's some question whether all will meet the deadline.
