Cancelled Sky Max Hub in cooling period and told 24 month contract still applies
I decided to take out Sky Max Hub as having wifi strength problems. It actually made the signal worse. So called Sky and cancelled the Sky Hub Max within the Cooling off period. I agreed a 24 month contract as part of the Sky Hub Max upgrade but assumed if I cancelled within the cooling off period the agreement would go back to the rolling monthly contract. I didn't get offered any financial incentive for entering the contract. I've been told today that despite activating the cooling off period I am stuck in this contract. Does this sound right? Seems a bit misleading to me!

For clarity, it's the WiFi Max subscription supplement rather than the Max Hub.
BT Halo 3+ Ultrafast FTTP (500Mbs), BT Smart Hub 2
