Cancelled Disney+ in March, Still Getting Charged Every Month
In March this year, we tried to set up the Disney+ channel on Sky Marketplace via the Sky TV. Due to issues with the marketplace app on the TV, we could got get this set up, even after speaking to an advisor with Sky. In the end we decided to cancel the subscription and my husband got Disney+ directly with Disney.
However, after cancelling the subscription with Sky, we are still getting charged each month (last charge being today) despite numerous calls to Sky, the last call with a manager stating that this had now been cancelled!
I am posting on here as I am at the end of my tether with regards to this shambles and don't understand how they cannot cancel a simple transaction? My husband suggested that I remove my card details from the sky account, but I cannot even do that as the only option it provides is to update my card details?!
I would just like this sorted. I have since spoken to the bank to dispute the latest card payment, but have to wait until it comes out of pending. I have posted this here more as a rant/warning to others, but would like a Sky representative to reach out to me to get this sorted, as I do not wish to waste hours on the phone again to be told 'it's sorted', when clearly it is not.

Re: Cancelled Disney+ in March, Still Getting Charged Every Month
No Sky employee will contact you as a result of a post. In face no one knows who you are as your Community tag name isn't linked to any Sky account you may have.
The last call may have started the 31 day notice period. Bills are generated 14 days before the payment date so that might explain today's charge. Have you check future bills to see if the Disney+ charge has been removed?

Re: Cancelled Disney+ in March, Still Getting Charged Every Month
Have you tried either of these:
For Sky Q - Press Home on your Sky remote, then select My Sky at the bottom of the screen.
You’ll then see a screen with your purchases. Select Your products. You’ll then be asked to enter your Sky TV PIN number.
Then follow the prompts to cancel.
In the Mysky app on a phone or tablet.
Go to the TV section, then My Bill section, there will be a section listed Marketplace, under that click on View subscriptions.
You should be able to cancel it there.
If someone has helped you then please click on the LIKES button in their post.
If you need help please provide as much information as you can

I blocked the subscription directly with my bank for this reason, 2 months on and they were still trying to take payment

That's generally a sledgehammer to crack a nut. If you do not pay your whole subscription then your services will be restricted and you may be liable for late payment charges.
