Cancellation confirmed but still charged – refund question
Hi,
I recently called your customer service and was told that my broadband contract would be cancelled on the 15th of this month. I would like to confirm whether the cancellation has been successfully processed.
However, I noticed that I am still being charged for another full month on the 10th. Could you please explain why this charge has been applied?
Also, I would like to know if this payment will be refunded, and if so, how many days it will take for the refund to be processed.
Thank you for your help.

Re: Cancellation confirmed but still charged – refund question
@Holly1129
You haven’t contacted Sky by posting on here. This is a customer ▶️ customer discussion forum where we try to help other customers. We therefore can't confirm anything.
Billing continues through a notice period. Bills for Sky+, Sky Q and Broadband /Talk are generated 14 days prior to a payment date. For Mobile, Glass and Stream it's 3 days before the payment date. It's therefore quite normal that another bill payment will be required. Of course any overpayment will be reimbursed to you. This can take up to 6 weeks from your last day of connection.
NOTE: I only provide help on the forum boards so Direct Messaging is switched off

Re: Cancellation confirmed but still charged – refund question
Have you been sent any email regarding your cancellation request as usually you would receive one once you put in your 14 days notice to cancel your broadband.
Once you see a credit on your account we can arrange some help via here to get it refunded back to you once you have left Sky and once this has been done you are looking at 3-5 days to get the refund back into your account.
If someone has helped you then please click on the LIKES button in their post.
If you need help please provide as much information as you can
