Re: Can you contact customer service by email or live chat?
@Paul+G+D Sky doesn't use email as a general communication route whilst chat is only available in certain situations
if you want to post your query on here we will try to either help or point you in right direction

Not by email, but online messaging is an option for some subjects. Can you give us an idea of why you need to speak to them?

I have returned my old sky router following an upgrade to fibre but have received another text asking me to return it! I also have a booster but there was no packaging and no request for it to be returned?

Re: Can you contact customer service by email or live chat?
Dispite the thread title you aren't contacting Sky here. We are fellow customers.
Which Sky hub was it?
Have you kept your proof of posting?
Unipart deal with returns and they are taking a number of weeks to process equipment at their warehouse. Let us know in this thread about the proof of posting and we can maybe get you some help from Skys Messaging Team.
If you have the proof it should be fairly straightforward however if you haven’t retained it, any cancellation of non return fees would be at Skys discretion.
Please don’t try to post an image of the Royal Mail tracking or postal receipt as Sky don’t like them on the forum.

Yes I have proof of posting dated 19/2/25. I also received an email acknowledging my return so it must have been logged on the system

Re: Can you contact customer service by email or live chat?
@PatD1
I’ve escalated your post to Sky and their Messaging Team should contact you later.
Look out for a post on this thread from one of the team inviting you to a private chat and then you should see a blue/red speech bubble at the bottom of your forum page. You’ll have 48 hours to click on it and start the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to a chat reply within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky aren’t instant so you’ll need to check the chat thread periodically.
This link explains what happens.

Re: Can you contact customer service by email or live chat?
Hi,
I am supposed to have a SKY engineer visit me at my home today (between 1-6 pm) to set up a new broadband connection. But today morning I received a text message at my registered mobile number informing "Your Sky broadband will be remotely activated today (anytime up to midnight). Once your services are active we'll send you a text to confirm."
Can I confirm that this is not an intimation to cancel the engineer visit? For information, I do not have a BT/Sky line installed, so the engineer needs to visit. I tried to ring [Removed], the Sky customer number, but there seems to be a fault with the Sky service today. Can you please respond to my query here?
Thanks.
Moderator notes: Removed phone number

Re: Can you contact customer service by email or live chat?
I would like to contact Sky customer services by phone or email about my bill. Unfortunately I find this site impossible to navigate. Probably an age issue. Can someone simply give me a phone number or email address?

Re: Can you contact customer service by email or live chat?
There is no email for general communication.
If the issue is not something we can help you with, call Sky by dialling 150 (free) from either a Sky Talk landline or a Sky mobile. Alternatively use this link…
https://www.sky.com/help/home
UK customers: Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ leading to a number starting 0333.
ROI customers: change the flag in the bottom right corner of the link to the ROI flag then scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ to see a dedicated ROI number. (Customer Services in the ROI are not open at weekends).
The forum filters don’t allow the posting of full phone numbers on here.
Calls to Sky will initially be automated which may try to send you here to the forum, offer you online help or offer to send you a text. Stay on the line as long as possible and saying nothing when asked the reason for the call sometimes helps being put in the queue for an agent.
