Can't sign up online (because it finds an old sky account that I had years ago linked to my address?
When I try to sign up for Sky it seems to find an old account that I had years ago and asks me for the first couple of digits of the bank account I used for the direct debit. I enter these correctly, but it then takes me to a page where it says I can't continue online and I have to call.
Do sky want my business or not? I've not been a customer for a few years now and I'm trying to return but it seems impossible.
Even if I create a new sky ID with a new email it seems to detect the old account based on my home address.
The old account is inactive and I've unlinked it from my sky ID.

As you are having these issues all we can suggest is that you call Sky to have them place the order for you.
