Can’t change household email address

I've tried numerous times to change the email that is the 'household email account' since this is no longer in use but I just get an error saying it cannot be updated, please try again later. I'm sick of trying again later, it always fails. Anyone got any ideas?

Hi I am having the same problem. I want to update the account email address as I won't have access to the one that is on the account now.  I keep on getting an error message can you please help

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you sometime tomorrow morning regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at this bottom of this page.

Same thing here.
I tried a few times weeks apart but the same answer each time "Your email address cannot be updated. Please try again later."

Persevere if you can and maybe raise a new discussion so an expert picks it up and escalates it. You 'll probably end up having to talk to the (offshore) call centre which is 'somewhat challenging' as they don't explain things very well but eventually it gets sorted.

Mine got solved by liaising with their technical support (they contacted me through some kind of chat)
