@Madmax73 You don't seem to be reading any of the replies, or you're ignoring them?

No one from Sky will call you as they would not know who you are or your contact details based on a community post from an unlinked account.

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Hi @Madmax73   You are not talking to Sky on this public community forum. Just other customers.

@Madmax73

I'm afraid you were misinformed. A full payment would be required. No one from Sky will contact you, in fact they won't know who you are as your Community log-in name isn't linked to any Sky accounts.

@Madmax73

You seem a bit surprised your services are restricted.

For future reference if you have a Direct Debit set up and the payment fails on the normal payment date Sky will automatically attempt it again 10 calendar days later. After 10 days, if that second attempt also fails Sky may send a text and/or email notifying you that your payment has failed again and you then have a day or two at best before they restrict your services.

If you have a Continuous Card payment method set up (which it sounds like you have), if the payment fails Sky send the text/email notification about the failed payment and you usually have at best 2/3 days before being restricted. There is no grace period and I believe only 1 attempt is made for a card payment.

If you've done that, you could try to contact Sky via their X (Twitter) presence or Facebook Messenger. They won't contact you in response to your post here, as already advised.

Re: Can sky please contact me

As expected my complaint has not been dealt with to my satisfaction. , the facts are this yesterday I received a phone call from one of your of your sales team who then went on to explain that I am currently paying £61.50, monthly after what seemed to be an endless drivel that if I cancelled Sky Cinema and replaced it with Sky Sports that my subscription would only increase by £1. Yet when I looked at future bills I can see that you are set to charge me £75.50.while I am not a litigacous person, unless. I hear to the contrary, I will be forced to pursue legal action to prevent my financial situation being

You are not contacting Sky here - just other customers.

Look at your itemised bills and see where the increase is coming from.  It may be an expiring discount term.

Sports is significantly more expensive that cinema but we obviously don't know what was agreed.

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

Hi @JohnMcDougall   You were seriously expecting Sky Sports (£40) to replace Sky Cinema (£13) for an extra £1. (List prices).

@JohnMcDougall The 2 replies to your initial post clearly state that you are not talking to Sky here, no one here has your contact details or has contacted you. The forum/community is a customer to customer support platform.

You need to call Sky to resolve the issue.
