Re: Broadband penalty charge after contract ends
Not sure what you mean. Your contract doesn't end until you cancel it. When your discounts end you either cancel by contacting Sky or negotiate a new discount.

Thanks, when the discount contract ends, T&C says 31 day notice required, so, if cancelling without notice presumably there is a charge.

Re: Broadband penalty charge after contract ends
The notice period for cancelling broadband is 14 days (31 days is for TV). If you are still in the initial 18 months deal Sky could impose cancellation charges. This link may help https://www.sky.com/help/articles/cancel-sky-broadband

Re: Broadband penalty charge after contract ends
Sky gives examples for cancelling within the minimum period, but other than saying 31 days notice on the rolling contract says nothing about charges.
It does seem to imply there is no 'notice' needed if transferring to another provider, but not specific.

Sky's billing is daily pro-rata. So you would pay up to the last day of service.
(If the last day of service is prior to any minimum term then early termination charges apply)
