Bill has been paid twice

I paid my bill on the 28th April as I was going abroad so I knew that all my bills had been paid prior to going away. However yesterday the bill went out again so the bill has been paid twice, it is showing twice on my account. How do I get this refund for one of the bills back? As I am currently in America I can't ring to request this but it has taken a chunk of my money out that I need back.

If you have then as you have a direct debit or card payment set up you should never need to make a manual payment as you have done. What should happen is a credit should appear on your account for the amount you have overpaid and this will be used to pay your next bill so on that bill no money will be taken from your account.

 

You can also have this credit refunded if you want as we can alert Skys' messaging team to your post so let us know if you see a credit and if you would like this done.

Like I said I was going away so I processed the manual payment as I didn't want the bill money to be mixed up with the holiday money.

 

On my account it is showing credit, I would prefer the money back

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.
