Hi.
my direct debit gets took on the 26th of every month. But it hasnt gone out yet?? Is anyone having the same problem?

I would have thought it would have been taken either yesterday or today but there is the possibility that it could be taken tomorrow so what does your online bill say regarding this payment:

Yes mine also says it could be a late payment, not my fault if they haven't taken it.

It says payment overdue, late payment may result in a £10 charge.
Id pay it now via card, but if it comes out again I will be annoyed.

Find out moreThere is two issues which stopped the direct debit from being taken on the 25th, firstly it was a Sunday when payments are not taken (along with a Saturday) and secondly it was Christmas Day, so as the 26th was Boxing Day and a holiday and Tuesday was a Bank Holiday the earliest it would have been taken was on Wednesday but as the banks are catching up with these payments it might not be taken from tomorrow onwards. If it isn't taken on Friday then the next day would be Tuesday as Monday is a Bank Holiday.

Find out more@HannahKauser @Stan+Hartley I would expect your current bills to show as payment received as the billing cycle would have started on 21st of December for a 25th of December payment even though it wouldn't have left your back account until yesterday at the earliest due to the bank holiday
so does it not show payment received?
