Best tv device on sky tv

I have just had sky broadband fitted in my home, it did not come with a tv package, any suggestions?

Sky Broadband is not Sky Television.

Your choice would be Sky Stream (online only) or Sky Q (satellite dish).  The baseline channel bundle is now typically 'Ultimate TV' (including bundled Netflix Standard with Ads)

As @Jones_The_Cat indicates, details and pricing for these are reasonably easily discoverable elsewhere.

You probably would have got the best deal by ordering Stream at the same time as the broadband service though.

It completely depends on personally preference. If you have no interest in watching the Sky TV shows broadcast on their channels like Sky Atlantic or Sky Witness, or have no interest in sport, then i'd say there is zero point getting a Sky TV package. As most of the stuff you would likely watch would appear on the free channels or perhaps streaming apps you have subscriptions to.

Even if you do want a TV package from Sky there are choice between Sky Q or the newer Sky Streaming platform. Both have their pro and cons, so you would need to read about them and decide which best suits your needs. Not everyone is suited to the newer streaming platform yet.

Sky are the only company thus far that has NOT given me a landline, how can I rectify this problem?

Landline and broadband are bundled together. Can you explain what you mean?

If you have broadband activated then you do have a landline as your phone connection needs to be plugged into the back of your Sky hub as you should see a voice light lit up on the front of it.
