I am only getting 7.1mb download acording to ThinkBroadband? Even though your website says otherwise. Also I am being charged for a boost which I am not getting? Either stop charging me or give me the boost.

'Broadband Boost' does not boost broadband: it's a very unfortunate choice of product name.
It gets users a rather better router (in some cases) and the option of claiming wireless booster hardware but neither of those can increase speed delivered to the property, which for FTTC is almost entirely a product of copper line length from the local fibre cabinet.

Re: Being charged for boost I am not getting? Download not what Sky claim?
Hi thanks. I'm on the austerity package, sorry forgot the name, as I'm disabled. So should be £20, but I had the boost before I transfered to it. So I'm getting charged £27.50 a month? Hope I've not just got mixed up? I'm supposed to get 35mb I think or is it 37mb. Sorry poor memory. at the moment its 7.1 according to ThinkBroadband. Thanks for your help.

The Social Tariff, I'd think, in which case the Broadband Boost add-on is almost certainly inappropriate and unnecessary.
Social tariff broadband is a 40/10 wholesale FTTC product (marketed as 'Superfast 35') but those are maximum theoretical speeds rather than what's actually possible at a particular address.

Thanks for your help. I usually get 35mb or 37mb, I forget. Today ThinkBroadband says its 7.1mb even though the sky site claims its full speed?

If you post your Hub stats, we'll have some information about your particular phone line and internet connection to work with.
