Been told they will charge me

I sent all my sky equipment back in June as I was moving house and no longer need it due to moving out of the country. Unfortunately I did not keep my receipt. They are now telling me they have not received it and will be charging and taking money out of my account !!

All you can do is to try again or perhaps use the social media links at the bottom of the page to contact Sky about this. Without the receipt it will taker longer to get this looked into and corrected.

Finally managed to speak to someone and was told that this happens all the time as when you send it via post it can sit somewhere for months before it actually gets to their warehouse to be scanned in!! Sky are then charging the customer for not sending it back even though they are aware of this!  The lady was really helpful and my account was credited in a day. Makes me wonder how much money sky are making out of this

Probably not a big proportion of annual revenue in excess of ten billion pounds, but it's undoubtedly a clumsy process (and outsourced rather than handled by Sky themselves)
