Been offered what appears to be a great deal by BT to switch
Can I start by saying that I think that it's bonkers that I can't just speak directly to an Sky agent via the Assistant, and have to go through the Community (lovely and helpful as it is).. Because I'm surely going to have to speak to an agent in the end.
So.anyway.. I've been a loyal Sky customer for nearly 20 years. But I'm currently paying an incredible £104.99 a month for Sky Entertainment (which is a redundant package), Sky HD, all of Sky Sports plus Sky Sports HD, Sky Cinema, Disney+, plus Sky Go Extra and See It First at no extra charge.
BT have just offered me what appears to be a fantastic deal, and frankly the only reason I'm not sure about it is concern about the NOW TV box. They are giving all the above apart from Disney+, but including TNT Sport, for a mere £78 per month. And their broadband offer is also better than Sky's.
I'd like people's advice, and I'd also like to speak directly to somebody from Sky about this. I really don't want to leave Sky, as I'm so used to it and, apart from the price, very happy with it. But I can save £192 a year (15% off what I'm currently paying) if I switch.
What to do...

You will need to call Sky to discuss.
However Sky won't match or get near to any of the new customers deals that either they offer or competitors do. One thing to remember is that this would be a new customer BT deal, so remeber when your new contract would expire so you can shop around for the new customer deals of competitors then.
Seemingly at the moment the industry is more focused on new customer deals than renewal/retention deals.

Thanks. That's what I thought. And I've finally found a link to call them - they hide that away very well.
I don't mind paying something in between the two offers. I don't really fancy the hassle of switching tbh.
