I am getting letters from BW legal saying I owe SKY UK money still even though this account has not been used for years and says my balance is £0.00. Online reviews of BW legal say they are a scam and trying to rip off people. 

What do I do ? I've tried getting through to sky and had nothing but loops on the helpline

When calling Sky when the bot asks you why you are calling say nothing as you might then get directed to an agent to talk to.

@Scientist97 BW Legal are a legitimate company and most online reviews calling them a scam are usually from people who either owe money but dont want to pay it or worse people deliberately giving out false info just for fun.

Contact them and tell them you are disputing the claim until you see proof of what the debt is for, i wouldn't just ignore it because a few random people claim its a scam.

That company appear to be a debt collection agency based in Leeds. If you do owe Sky then all Sky will be able to tell you is the amount you owe, and confirm the name of the debt collection company they passed your debt to. Sky would have tried to contact you about any debt prior to 'selling' the debt to a company.
