Asked to call back another day to get a better deal
Hi - I've just called Sky to discuss my services which are currently due to go out of deal next month. We talked for a while and got a price, but the agent then advised I call back later this week to check again whether they can go any lower as apparently his supervisor isn't in at the moment. This seems really odd, does it sound right or have I just been fobbed off a bit?

It could be either so all you can do is to see what they say when you do call them back as requested.

Presumably that price wasn't acceptable. It may not be there as and when you call again.
Depending on when your current discounts end it's usually best to call within the last couple of weeks.
