Anyone know why I have paid £40 installation fee when buying sky stream and broadband?
All the online offers so no update front costs. I called up a sky salesman and signed up for sky broadband and sky stream and have had to pay £40 upfront cost for installation. As far as I can tell there is no installation required

From the 'legal bit' here, there's a £39.95 'set up fee' for a Sky Stream Puck:

Thanks @Mark39, seems strange to pay a fee when you plug it in yourself and return the puck at the end of your contract. I have seen on comparison sites that you can get the packages with no upfront cost so I guess I should not have signed up directly with Sky!
