Am moving abroad in a week's time and need to cancel my Sky broadband. 

What is the procedure?

You've left it a bit late from the point of view of returning the hub.

To cancel Sky Broadband and Sky Talk the below link explains the various methods on cancelling completely.

If you try to cancel whilst still in a minimum term deal you might have to pay an early termination charge (Sky will notify you if you do and how much they’ll charge).

Return packaging for any equipment Sky expect back will be sent out to you near the end of the 14 day notice period. Remember to keep any proof of posting indefinitely.

@M-c you have to call Sky and give 14 days noticexand if still in the 24 month fixed contract term you will be charged a cancellation fee. You also will probably have to return your Sky hub see https://www.sky.com/help/articles/return-tv-broadband
