After cancelling still being charged for TV

all our Sky equipment was returned as we cancelled in February yet still were being charged for SKY TV when we did not want it. I phoned yesterday and Sky confirmed they received it. They tried to blame Virgin! But I spoke with Sky to cancel all services, that's how it is done.. Why would I return ALL equipment if this was not so?

@Lkrktlflf  You say you cancelled, how?  You've moved to Virgin Media did you use the One Touch Switch?  If so VM can only cancel your broadband, if you have TV also this won't have been cancelled even by returning your boxes.

Did you get confirmation that your TV service has been cancelled?

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Hi @Lkrktlflf   Switching only applies to broadband and home phone. It was your responsibility to cancel TV. Returning your equipment does not give Sky the 31 days notice of cancellation as you have discovered. Obviously Sky are happy taking your money until you request an end of contract.

@MightyQuinn and @GD1  the OP states they spoke to Sky to cancel, its not a one touch switch issue.

Hi @daveNOS   I don't understand why Virgin is mentioned if it is not a switch issue
