Adding a person to account
i have tried phoning and there is no longer an option to talk to an advisor!! Going round in circles trying to be understood!! I will be going into hospital soon and i need to know that if there is any problem with Sky TV/Broadband while im away, that my husband can fone up and sort it. But since they only deal with the named Account Holder , i want to add him to the account so they would be able to deal with him in my absence. Does anyone understand what i mean?????? I damn well hate dealing with Robots! I just want a Human to add him to my account. Anyone!!!

Re: Adding a person to account
You can't make him a joint accountholder, but you can set up a telephone password and share it with him. That will enable him to administer your account, with the exception of being able to cancel.
Just remain silent when you call, and you'll eventually be asked if you want to speak to an adviser.

Re: Adding a person to account
You cannot formally add someone. (Other than LPA)
However, if he knows the telephone password he will be able to perform most actions, short of cancellation.

@EllieP1
As long as he knows the telephone password to get through the security checks he can call Sky on your behalf. The only thing he can't do is cancel any aspect of the subscription.
FYI, calls to Sky will initially be automated which may try to send you here to the forum, offer you online help or offer to send you a text. Stay on the line as long as possible and saying nothing when asked the reason for the call sometimes helps being put in the queue for an agent.
