Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me, I cancelled my sky account last year, and returned the sky Q box in November. However, I keep getting letters from various Debt collection Agencies, asking me for £85.17, for not returning the equipment. Each time I get in touch with the Debt collectors, they say to phone Sky, which I do, and Sky say they have the equipment, and they have took the balance off my (now closed) account. But a few weeks later, another letter from another Debt collector turns up, and I go through the same procedure! Getting a bit fed up of it now. Can anyone recommend a way of getting this sorted once and for all? I was thinking of writing a letter and sending them a copy of the receipt I got from Royal Mail when they collected the equipment. Does anyone have the address of Sky Credit Control department? I can only think that they are not getting the message from the other departments that the equipment has been returned.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@diygail I have escalated your post to the Sky staff here, I'm not sure if they can assist when it's been passed to debt collectors but it's worth a shot seeing as you have proof with the receipt.
You may receive a private message or see a blue chat bubble appear towards the bottom of your screen, it will probably be tomorrow now and once the chat is started you have 48 hours to respond.

In case you aren’t aware we are mainly fellow customers on here trying to help other customers and you’re not contacting Sky Customer Services by posting on the forum.
Is the 'similar issue' that you're being charged for the non return of equipment? If so, do you still have your proof of posting it back?
Sky don't immediately refer the matter to debt collectors. They communicate with you first to try to recover the non return fees.
