That might be a bit difficult if the the address registered on the account and where the equipment is, is yours. Cancling the payment method will not only restrict your service but you will or you boyfriend will not be able to speak to Sky until the outstanding debt is cleared so won't be able to even tell Sky your boyfriends address so they chase him. All communication will still come to your address including the debt collection agency if it should get that far. Also if you just want to change the name on the account to yours which you would have to do if you want to make changes. Sky don't change name account the only exception is if the account holder dies then they makethe exception of changing to the spouse. Other wise the account has to be closed and they nee the present account holder can do that , the equment returned to Sky and only then can account be opened in your name and and if it Sky Q a engineer sent to install the equipment again if it Sky stream they will just send you the equipment for yo to do. You say you are no longer in contact with him as said in earlier post have got a mutual friend that might know where he is and contact him on your behalf. Other than that contacting a solicitor I am not if Sky might talk to him or her.
