Re: Account in credit, refund

Hi, I have been sent an email today saying I am due a refund. It says either by bank or by cheque. Sky don't have my bank details anymore so assuming they will send a cheque but they don't have my new adresss either so I need to try sort this out by either giving address or bank details.

You will need to contact Sky to either provide bank details or new address.

Re: Account in credit, refund

Hi,

I have received the refund cheque but the name is incorrect. Is there any way Sky can resend a new cheque with correct name on it?

Was your name correct on your account?

Re: Account in credit, refund

Hi Daniel,

It is a different first name in my bank account and the bank reject the cheque.

@VCHK

You'll need to contact Sky to discuss this but don't be surprised if Sky will/can only supply a cheque in the same name as they have as the account holder.

At present you will need to contact Sky and speak to an agent through either social media, Sky Assistant or by calling in perhaps. When calling saying nothing when asked the reason for your call usually helps in getting put in the queue.

Re: Credit refund

I have been sent a letter, about a credit but need to check the last held address as I've moved. The cheque payment could go to the wrong address.

You'll need to contact Sky to check that. You can't do it via the forum or online.

Re: Credit refund

How can you contact them there's no numbers available. I don't have an account with them. I've requested chi on the automated system so hope it comes to my new address, not sure they have my married name either. It's so difficult getting anything when you can't speak to a human. I hate technology. Credit of £93.37 lost if it doesn't get to me 😞

@Jiranche

Whilst appreciating you're no longer a Sky customer these are the current methods for contacting Sky. (Depending on your reason for making contact some methods will be more appropriate than others) …

🟩 📞 Customer Services by dialling 150 (free) from either a Sky mobile or a Sky Talk landline. The forum doesn’t allow the display of other numbers.

All calls will start automated which may offer you the online help route or try to send you here to the forum. Stay on the line as long as possible and saying nothing when asked the reason for the call sometimes helps being put in the queue for an agent.

🟩 online help via this link
https://www.sky.com/help
If necessary a number may be visible at the end of the correct help flow.

🟩 Sky Assistant 💬 should also be available via
https://www.sky.com/help
for most service issues and gives you 24/7 help and a quick response. It should provide you with multiple choice options based on your problem and will provide troubleshooting steps to fix any service issues.

🟩 Social Media You can also get in touch via the messaging services on: Facebook, Instagram, or X (links at the bottom of the forum page).

Note ~ ROI customers 🔹If you’re in the ROI make sure the flag in the bottom right of the link is showing the correct flag and change if required. The Sky Ireland phone lines are closed at a weekend.
