@hazey40

As the amount has now reappeared on your Sky account I have re-escalated this to the Messaging Team. The process is the same as the first one.

Re: Account in credit, refund

I left sky a few months ago and have had an email to say my account was in credit. I can't have the cheque sent to my home address as I no longer live there

@Cunny88

To get you some help with this I have escalated your post to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.

This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears by typing it it to start the chat:

https://community.sky.com/t5/Did-you-know/Escalating-a-post-to-a-Sky-expert/ba-p/3711147

When the chat bubble does appear you will need to respond to it as soon as you can or it will be closed if there is no response within 48 hours. To start the conversation just type in it.
This isn't a live chat so replies may not be instant.

Re: Account in credit, refund

Thanks for escalating this. We’ve sent an invite to chat.

Please be aware conversations automatically close if there is no response within 48 hours.

Re: How to claim a refund

Cancelled Sky broadband in Narch. Account shows credit of £49.33 credit which I gave yet to receive. Bank account used for direct debit transactions is still live although I've cancelled the DDR with the bank so that no further payments could be taken.

@SadlerL
We need to wait at least 10 minutes from your post before we can escalate it to Sky so I’ll escalate it at that point and their Messaging Team should contact you tomorrow.

Look out for a post on this thread from one of the team inviting you to a private chat and then you should see a blue/red speech bubble at the bottom of your forum page. You’ll have 48 hours to click on it and start the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to a chat reply within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky aren’t instant so you’ll need to check the chat thread periodically.

This link explains what happens.

Refund

I cancelled my broadband 10 months ago and I have received an email informing me about a credit that hasn't been refunded. Does anyone know how to get a refund? The telephone number provided is automated and wants to send a cheque to my old address.

Thank you

Final bill credit refund

I have cancelled my sky account over 6 months ago and I am in credit and finding it hard to get a refund. Is there a number or email I can contact. The help files take me round in circles and am looking for some assistance.

Thanks

Neil

@KerryA9

We can arrange some help via here if you agree to setup your payment method again so the refund can be applied via it so will you be OK to do this once contacted via a private message by Sky ?
