@gwynW

No one is forcing you. As we have stated already you have two options …

  1. continue engaging with the Messaging Team when they reopen in the morning OR
  2. call Sky and request your refund

either way the refund will take 3-5 working days.

@gwynW Sometimes with large organisations the issuing of refunds can be missed or delayed(took me 4 months with BT and currently 12 weeks with O2) , especially when they process so many, Its undoubtedly frustrating when that happens but it's hardly a hard task to reply to the Sky staff here via the chat bubble to get it sorted is it?

No doubt the refund will be made without you having to do anything, if you wait long enough. However, if you "need" it you're best engaging with Sky. Up to you really.....

Re: 969 complaints about credit refund

Sky and BT know exactly what they are doing. There are nearly a 1000 people demanding refunds. That's £50,000 £100,000 maybe more. That's money in the company's accounts. Money that should not have been removed from their customers. No excuses can justify this.

What an awfully patronising statement. That's incredibly rude

Perhaps you might want to consider the tone of your earlier posts before accusing others of being rude!

I am not making an accusation. I am making a statement of fact.

@gwynW

Leaving aside the tone of your replies to other customers who are only trying to help you, if you continue to engage in the chat invite with the Messaging Team the refund will be actioned.

Well this thread is going down the toilet rather quickly.

I's time to just stop replying and trying to help and leave the OP to deal with Sky on their own.

Re: 969 complaints about credit refund

But that's what I am wanting - a refund. I don't want to engage or discuss. And No! the comments have nothing to do with being helpful. They are just a pile on to defend SKY.  The only useful suggestion has been to phone direct which I have now done.

This concludes the thread.

Hi @gwynW   Then why post on a public community forum?

Re: 969 complaints about credit refund

I'm not here to defend Sky but have just read through this thread and your tone and attitude are disgusting, You should be ashamed of yourself for speaking to other fellow customers like that

God love the poor employee at Sky that had the misfortune of taking your call

Hey everyone!

Just wanted to take a moment to highlight one of our community rules isn't being followed in this thread..

Some of the post I am observing here are becoming rude, with back and forth interaction which go off the original topic. Let's remember to keep in line with community guidelines while engaging with the community.

Re: 969 complaints about credit refund

I have since spoken to a human being and received my refund. Removing money from a private account without the customer's permission may not theft if the money is returned. However it is not polite or considerate. [Removed]
