3 year deal

I have just been perusing sky's various deals and notice that they  appear to be for 18 month duration However the agent who signed me up last year, in our local shopping centre, told me my deal was for 3 years which she has written down. Has anyone else had a 3 year deal?

Have you had an emails about the package you agreed to, or have you checked in your message centre to see if there is anything there:

If this is TV related you could login to your Sky account and click on 'Offers and Upgrades' as the dates will show:

Or for Broadband/Talk try here:

Never seen it before - if so, that's committing to a lot of price increases!

My question is as it is written by one of Skys agents are Sky obliged to stick to the 3 years deal?

Are your 'in contract' dates showing 18 or 36 months?

I doubt it, no.  Also note a 'deal' typically doesn't preclude the annual price increase anyway.
