Hello Community
I bought a package from Sky about 7 years ago. It now looks very expensive compared to their current (replacement/renamed) packages and I find it impossible to communicate my questions to the 'bot'.
I have Sky Q and my current bill reads:
Variety+ £45.50
Sky Sports+ £34.00
Sky Cinema £13.00
Sky Sports HD £2.00
Sky Q Multiscreen £15.00
Total: £109.50
I have the Sports add-on for cricket and F1 and watch those in another room on Multiscreen, so as not to irritate my wife more than otherwise.
I suspect that there may be a successor package that is cheaper than Variety+. Is that correct?
I could probably chop Sky Cinema but would I lose the Paramount+ app if I did that?
I use Sky Go quite a bit. If I chopped the Multiscreen, would I lose Sky Go and the ability to watch recordings on that?
I believe there are now new packages that run solely over the internet rather than via the Sky dish. What are the advantages or disadvantages of these?
I find these questions impossible to get across to the 'bot' and I am probably going bonkers but I can no longer find a telephone number on which to negotiate with a Sky human. Is there one? A number I mean, not a human. I think they still have a few of them!
Any answers most appreciated.

If Sky give you a discount then you will be tied into a new 24 month contract so the only way you might be able to cancel if if you pay the remainder of the contract off.

Sky Signature is the fault package with Sky Q.

You would no longer have access to Paramount+ unless you take up a package directly with them.

You wouldn't lose access to Sky Go content but would to your recordings.

You appear to be 'out of contract' and are not getting any discounts.
Call Sky and negotiate a deal. However, this will require a switch to Signature and a 2 year commitment.

Re: £109.50 Legacy Package looks v expensive
Thank you both. Very helpful.
I have also been double-paying for Netflix at £12.99 per month ever since Sky included it! Idiot.
So if I go for:
Sky Signature with Ultimate TV at £22.00
Sky Sports at £20
Sky Cinema at £10
Sky Multiscreen at £15
and cancel Netflix seperate sub at £12.99
I will be paying £67 versus £122.49 (£109.50 + £12.99) and saving £55.49 on the same content BUT it seems I have to sign up for £24 months.
What happens if I have to cancel, i.e. moving to a relative's house who already has a Sky subscription? Do I have to pay off the unexpired portion?
