Sky news app stopped working after latest firestick HD os update - for me that was 5th August 2025

Tried all the usual clear cache, clear data, delete /reinstall etc etc no joy. All other streaming apps work with no issue, so definately a compatability issue for developers of app to look into.

After researching internet, I notice many users having this issue with no resolution just the usual turn off turn back on type.

Any ideas on how to progress ?

Delete the app from the stick. Make sure stick and apps are updated. Disconnect the power source and the HDMI connection to your TV. Wait a minute or two. Reconnect, restart and reinstall the app. Worked for me
