Sky Sports app not showing driver onboards

Hi im having trouble accessing the driver onboards on the app. When I select the onboards I only get the main feed - I.e. no options for the drivers. A few people have mentioned this on X; is it something to do with Android? I'm using a Samsung Galaxy 23FE and an A6 tablet.

Hi everyone,

yet again i have no access to any of the onboards on FP1 in Canada just now, the oboards are not availabe at all in the sky sports app, the menu does not appear at all and on the red button it says this stream is not available.

I had problem last week on the red button as well.

What is going on with the race control options recently?

I have an F1 subscription which is active, so why is this not working on either tablet, mobile or even the red button?

Same here, but my suspicion is they had a problem at Sky HQ which meant they weren't available, because they didn't mention the fact you could watch the onboards at all during FP1.

Let's see whether it's been fixed in time for FP2.

Give this a try:

Make sure Watch is selecetd at the top then "Live Canadian F1" and the options are on the right.

Hi - thanks for the tip but it takes me to the same screen as the 'ride onboard' panel. To clarify - I can get to the onboards page but I don't get an option to choose a driver - I only get the main feed. Normally you'd get the main feed then a list of all 20 drivers.

Same, no access to the driver onboards on the app. I only get the main feed. They mentioned being able to go onboard in commentary but still nothing. Deleted app and downloaded again - still the same

@JackieF1nut @Beardwood527 If in the event this happens again tonight see the image below you need to click the f1 channel under channels on the watch tab and not the red race control tile

@SKY1992bf Thanks! The red race control tile isn't working again, but accessing it via the method you stated is working for me for FP3! Excellent. 🙂

F1 Race control on the Sky sports app

On my TV when I press the red button I can view race control but on my IPad when i press on sky sports to watch the F1 live I have no option to watch race control at all - all that is available is the main coverage- is this because i recently cancelled my multiscreen?

On iPhone all I get is the screen with p3, works ok on tv driver tracker etc but not on iPhone...

Please see @SKY1992bf 's post #7 n how you should be able to get access to the additional feeds

This is still not working on race day. The answer provided is not accurate for the sky sports app. Why has this changed? What is thee fix for the iOS app?

@Chakras It doesn't have to be accurate it's a workaround

are you saying the workaround doesn't work for you

hi @Chakras

I only have Android but hopefully the iOS version is similar

Click on Watch icon at the bottom of the Home screen

Ensure that All is selected at the top, then scroll along the tiiles and select Live Canadian Grand Prix

Note: Do not select the Large 'Live Canadian GP - Go on Board With Any driver' below the main Tiles

(it is like they have got the selections mixed up)

Do you not get a tile in the same rail as other sports ?
