we have tried this but not received any link to reset, contacted paramount direct and said as signed in through sky they have no details

Unfortunately thats nonsense that Paramount + support have told you in that case. The paramount + app requires a Paramount + login so they must have details.

Could it be that you have used a different email address when creating your paramount + account ( or perhaps you accidentally made a typo in the email address)? That may explain why the Paramount + reset password function doesn't work and perhaps why Paramount + support are claiming they can't see your account based on the email address provided.
