Sky Sports App - Error Code: CIE-2000

When I go to the Sky Sports App I get the message:

Service can't be reached

Error code: CIE-2000

Please check your interet connection. If he problem persists, try agin later.

I am using Chrome as my Browser. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the App and still get the same problem. In the Chrome Settings I have also selected in Delete browsing data to Delete data with a Time range of All time and the following options ticked:

- Cookies and other site data

- Cached images and files

Try turning off your computer nternet connection so Wi-Fi or mobile data then delete the app. Reboot the device and enable the internet again before installing the app once more.

Do you have anything installed that could be causing this like a VPN ?

I have a VPN but this is disconnected
