Late payment fee removal

Can these late payment fees be removed as I always pay on time and the one time I miss the payment due to a unforeseen expenditure for my new born resulted it it being used. I feel it's professionally unfair that as a customer I am being treated like a criminal

What did Sky say when you asked? (It's a contractual matter, not criminal)

If you are new to the forum then welcome to the Community, which is predominantly made up of Sky customers helping other Sky customers. You aren’t talking to Sky by posting here.

By your own admission you missed a payment so the late payment fee was correctly applied. There's no reason why Sky would remove it.

@Antondunlop I'm afraid regardless of how many times you pay on time that fact you have paid late is why your received a late payment charge, which Sky are able to apply as per the terms you agreed to.

I can't see any reason why they should remove it if you have paid late.

First off i thought i could get thtough to via this form and secondly I agree there with in there rights to apply the charge but as they were ample time that the payment would be late they still applied the charge after being told it wouldn't be charged

That, like restrictions, are automatically applied and can't be overridden by agents.
